4. Keep your kids entertained

Kids can be incredibly whiny when they need to sit in one place for a long time, so it’s always a good idea to bring them something fun to play with in order to keep them distracted. These days there are also many toys and games that are meant for long road trips, but you can also bring some coloring books, sticker books, small dolls, and cars or even audio books.
